Review

So...this took a decidedly odd turn for me. I've been loving this series of installments so far, but I'm left feeling a bit befuddled after this one. I mostly enjoyed it, although it opens up with a scene between Christy and the Master that I read with a raised eyebrow.

There are a lot of elements in this story now as Christy struggles to free herself from Ramon's grip and unravel the mystery behind the attacks. All the while, she's trying to figure out how it all links to the Master and his imprisonment.

Apart from the bizarre opening scene, I feel like we're finally getting close to finding answers and no doubt everything will be revealed in the next and final installment. I'll definitely be seeing this through to the finale, but I could do without sex scenes involving bears and magic knives.

*I received a review copy form the publisher, for my honest opinion. Thank you!
